PIE
So, I recently discovered the many virtues of PIE.
PIE is nature's most
perfect food.
Feeling sad? Have some PIE. Apple, cherry, blueberry,
pumpkin, it goes on and on.
It is my firm belief that PIE could solve all
the world's problems. Just think . . .warring nations could come together in
peace over a freshly-baked cherry PIE, a husband and wife could reconcile
their previously thought irreconcilable differences while enjoying a slice of
Boston Creme PIE, people of all different races and religions can connect
over their mutual affection for pecan PIE.
::sigh:: I have a dream. . .I
dream of a world in which every little boy and girl is free to have all the
PIE he or she wants. Any time a problem arises, just take a moment, and say
"Hey! PIE." After all, in the immortal words of John Lennon: "All you need
is love . . .and PIE."
