Raj Kumar Santoshi's has signed some of the best leading ladies for his next project LAJJA. One of which is ofcourse our Mads. The other actresses are, Rekha and Manisha Koirala . There were alot of rumors going on about Mahima being the fourth leading lady, but filmfare confirms that it's Aishwariya (It should be interesting to see Mads & Ash, the same film with Manya, wouldn't you agree?). Unless there are 5 heroines in this film? (If you know anything about this, please inform me.)

Madhuri's Kannada titled Raam film opposite Arjun Sarja and her trilingual Engineer opposite Arvind Swamy both have been delayed! I don't have any further information on these films. I will try to get more information as soon as possible.

BUMPED into a glowing dazzling Madhuri Nene nee Dixit recently at a suburban preview theatre where she arrived with her parents just like the good old days. Producer Boney Kapoor had orgainzed the screening of a Tamil flick which he proposes to remake in Hindi subject to Mrs Nene's approval. The film offers a mature role of a mtoher with two kids to Madhuri. Looks like the bride isn't wasting much time honeymooning and it's busines as usual for the enchantress. Remains to be seen how successfully she manages to shuttle between des pardes and juggle a career with marriage.
Madhuri's secretary Rakesh(Rikku) Nath and wife, Reema Rakesh Nath celebrated there Silver Jubliee wedding aniversary just a few weeks after Madhuri Dixit tied the knot with Sriram Nene. Lot of celebrities were present. Wow! So much has surely happened since the last time I updated my website. For one thing, our Ms. Madhuri Dixit became Mrs. Madhuri Dixit Nene on October 17. She tied the knot with a Cardiac Surgeon in Los Angeles California, USA. She and her hubby, Sriram Nene flew off to Hawaii for a 10 day honeymoon, after which Madhuri returned to India for the release of her most aniticipated movie of the year PUKAR. Most of you will now be hearing rumors that Madhuri will quit doing movies. This is not true. She is dieing to settle down with her husband, but she assures her fans that she will not be quitting. After, Pukar, Gaja Gamini, Hum Tumhare Hai Sanam and Yeh Raaste Hain Pyaar Ke, Mrs. Nene will only be doing selective roles. I AS WELL AS MANY OF HER FANS WISH THE QUEEN OF BOLLYWOOD, THE ACTRESS OF THE MILLENNIUM AND THE DIVA OF INDIAN CINEMA, MRS. MADHURI DIXIT NENE A VERY HAPPY WEDDED LIFE.

REPORTS SAY MADS WILL STAR IN A NEW FILM ABOUT AIDS:
Here's a man on the move. Now that Dr. Ambedkar has started reaping awards by the bushel, director Jabbar Patel is already on to the next project. This time he is out to make five public service films for the World Health Organisations. The subject? AIDS. And who do you think he plans to cast in one of these films. He's toying with the idea of roping in La Dix, but when reports last came in Mads hadn't bitten the bait yet.
According to a little swallow, it seems that every time Sanjay writes a script, he ahs Madhuri Dixit in mind. But some other lucky actress gets the plum role. Right Ash?

They truly don't make 'em like her anymore. Apni Madhuri Dixit's one helluva lass. When she isn't globe-trotting to meet herpyaari bahenas, she's travelling everywhere, from Chennai to Cincinnati or she's shotting at Filmistan studios with Ajay Devgan for Deepak Shivdasani's Yeh Raaste Hain Pyaar Ke. Not one to make much about either her films or co-stars, recently Mads was at home recovering from jetlag, spring-cleaning her home and ultimately helping mosie to make some piping hot varan bhaat.
After Elizabeth, it's Gajagamini
After Shekhar Kapur, it's not the turn of painter M.F. Husain to face the Censor Board's music over his maiden film, Gajagamini. The board apparently found some scenes int he 30-second promo for the film to be too "sexy." The film has Husain-favourite Madhuri Dixit playing four roles. However, a spokesperson for the film's producer said irrespective of the changes recommended in the promo, no changes would be made in the actual film.
GAJA GAMINI
Thrust: Hey, it's complete. Decidedly different and uncompromisingly artisitic, it's 84-year-old M.F. Husain's tribute to the abiding mystique of the woman.
Don't long for a conventional storyline. If you're willing to be mesmerisied by painterly visuals and the ever-beautiful Madhuri Dixit, then this one's your ticket.
In the cast, you'll also find Naseeruddin Shah playing Leonardo Da Vinci, Shabana Azmi playing a woman of solid substance and Shah Rukh Khan, guesting as a photo-journalist. Shilpa Shirodkar, Inder Kumar and Farida Jala fetch up too in his visual banquet. Certainly to be appreciated on the international festival circuit and at home, by the cognoscenti who can appreciate the real and surreal. Music by Bhupen Hazarika.

Dressed in burgandy red bridal finery, she sat in a garden full of heart-shaped colorful balloons, Ajay Devgan gazed at her adoringl, it was a perfect shot. aFter that as Mads came out, we asked her for an interview. She flashed her gorgeous smile and informed us that she could meet us only after she returned from her vacation. You see, it's that time of the year again when Madhuri Dixit packs her bags and flies off to the US of A for her annual vacation. No shows, no shoots, no interviews, Mads jsut goes and spends time with her siblings and their off-springs. Her annual trip always initiates wild speculations about her hitching up with a suitable NRI but La Dix has always managed to get back single, so far. THe lady has just wound up MF Husain's Gaja Gamini, besides that her forthcoming venture Pukaar is tipped to be her best performance yet, one that may fetch her the conveted national award. But right now, the lady is letting her hair down in America.

Music directors Sanjeev-Darshan recorded the second song for Yashish Enterprises's Yeh Raaste Hain Pyaar Ke in the voices of Vinod Rathod and Alka Yagnik at Empire Recording Theater on July 12 and 13. The song penned by Anand Bakshi.
MADHURI: THE 'CHARMING' GAMINI!
M.D. sure is one firm cookie, I must say. Inspite of pressure from some political circles, not to do M.F. Husain's film, charming Mads is not only doing 'Gaj Gamini', she's also explained her point of view to the leaders of the party in question and charmed them into agreeing. I don't blame them at all.
