I don't know anything about this film except that it's based on the essence of a woman. Madhuri Dixit is the central character of this film. Inder Kumar is casted opposite Madhuri. (Read this article on this film in the article page.) Whats really interesting is that Naseeruddin Sha is playing Leonardo Da Vinci? This movie was shot in exotic locations such as Paris. This film describes the many different classes and stages a woman has and goes through. Shahrukh Khan makes a guest appearnace as a photgrapher/journalist. He has a very sensous number with Madhuri becuase of which the film is still being held at the censor board. Madhuri is presented in 4 different roles. One of Gaj Gamini, a blind singer, Shakuntala and Monica Mathur (opposite Shahrukh.) I guess well have to wait and see exactly what this film is about. But it does sound very interesting and artistic.
*Recently Nasseruddin Shah spoke of his character in the film. he said he is playing the historical figure Leonardo Da Vinci but as MF Hussain visualises him. His character pursues the evolution of womanhood down the ages and also speaks hindi. Leonardo speaks hindi?...hm..this is interesting. Can't wait for it to realse.*
THE SHOOTING FOR THIS FILM IS NOW COMPLETE! The audio for this film should be releasing soon according to a certain section of screen magazine. This movie is said to be releasing JUNE 2000
