The Net

 

I want you to imagine this with me......

You are in a small rowing boat, making your way across a lake.

The Lake is so beautiful, its in Maine smooth as a mirror. The weather is perfect, it's a glorious day.

 

You are about halfway across, when the clouds quickly come in, a storm comes up, then suddenly the calm is gone and winds are up, waves crashing on you... the little boat is swamped and you begin to sink.

 

This is very frightening, for you are now weary, not enough strength to swim. The elements are against you, your fears are well founded and you pray hard.....

God is listening and so are your family and friends......

Underneath is deep unknown water, what is going to happen??

You begin to sink you haven't got much strength left, you begin to thrash and panic sets in.....

 

Then something amazing happens, underneath you, in the deep dark turbulent water, you feel something solid and it begins to lift you and hold you.

 

You feel safe and secure.....

 

Imagine with me....a fishing net.... it has knots and lines to make a mesh to catch the fish...... ok? .... are you with me?

Now this is the important part.....

The net is not made of fishing line, it is made people.... all your friends, your loved ones and dearest family.

All these precious people are holding hands at the knots.... Imagine some knots are heads and some are linked hands making up the mesh of the fishing net.....

 

This net of people is in the water underneath you...

When you need help....

When you feel you cant tread water anymore,

The net rises from underneath you, lifting and carrying you safely thru, supporting you, till you are able to continue on in your journey across the lake.

We are this Net, each one of us is a vital link, and as strong and safe as you would ever want it to be.

Don't be afraid, Trust God, and your precious loved ones, your family and so many, many friends....

 

You will never be alone, you dont have to do a thing, for when you need support and strength......up we rise to dry your tears, cuddle and support you. sloppy kisses, prickly whiskers and loving cuddles....hahaha

This net is so large, it covers all 4 corners of the globe,

 

You ARE going to make it thru any trial that pops up in front of you....

 

Think positive

Grit your teeth and fight....

Your friends are a huge Net of support

Holding you safely……
