Queens is just across the East River from Manhattan, and north of Brooklyn (also just across the river from Manhattan).
These two take up the western part of Long Island.

I first was told I had dry MD in my right eye when I was 68 or 69.....can't remember.
It might have started earlier then that, but, I first learned about it when I went to have my glasses changed and was sent to a specialist. Thought it was just old age creeping up on me.

for over 3 years so I'm keeping my fingers crossed.Â

This photographic obscenity was actually taken at an office Christmas party in 1996.
As you can see, I was a bit chubby at the time, having just given up smoking the previous year.
Happily, I'm still smoke free, but even more rewarding is the fact that I've also regained my former Adonis-like appearance. [Screech! Yeowl! Yackle! Groan!] Bobbie--my wife--is the cute one.
