Hang the DJ, hang the DJ......

Piece of piss really:

Yep, DJingīs great fun. Although I canīt really call myself a DJ, I donīt mix or anything, I just play one record after the other (well, I try to mix the fading out part with the fading in part of the next song, but thatīs hardly "mixing" now, is it). I started collecting records and CDs (I donīt have any preferences concerning the format, itīs the "software" that counts and not the "hardware" although I have to say records just look nicer) about 8 years ago and so far have about 1,000 of them.

I like mixing new releases with good old favourites (especially some shoegazing tunes when Iīm pissed).

>Hereīs a little flyer we did for one of our parties around the time Trainspotting was released. Me as Begbie there ;-).

I used to be called DJ Zig (I know, what an unbelievably shite name), but recently Iīve changed it to Bunf. Why? Long story, but anyway: Since I only have internet access at work and my office is on my way home I often surfed and chatted a bit after pub when I was still too awake to go to sleep, but already pretty drunk. One night in the chat someone asked if I had an e-mail addy, but I didnīt. The girl who had nightshift that night knew how to get an addy at hotmail, so she installed it for me right away. When she asked me, what name I wanted I just said "Ahhh, just put Alex" but there were already 234 Alexīs on hotmail, so she asked me if I wanted to put another name there. Drunk as I was a the time, the first thing I came up with was Bunf, who is the guitarist in my favourite group, Super Furry Animals. From there on I was known as Bunf. Pretty stupid, eh.

Hereīs another flyer when I DJed at a Lush gig in Vienna, I was called DJ Zig at the time (not much better than Bunf, eh).
