I started playing multiplayer games a few years back when I
used to play Quake with some mates on a LAN. I then started to play
games online, paricualy Quake and RTSs such as Total Annihilation,
and recently joined a Command & Conquer clan called Dominance 2000.
It did not work very well though, as there was a lack of interest and
very few people actually cared about playing games. Once I got Half-
Life, I started to play that online but I found the deathmatch mode a
bit shallow, and I tended to have such a high ping that I did not
perform very well. Once Team Fortress was relaesed though, I became
addicted and played it online whenever I could. I still have a high
ping, but by using a customized config file the effects are minimised.
I found the spy to be the class I played best, and so I am best
suited to sneaking into enemy bases and removing gun turrets using
grenades before the rest of the team come in. I was discovered by the
Silent Ones while playing a game on 2fort. I met [SO]Ash there, and I
agreed to tryout. After playing several games with the clan, I was
accepted and so I am now [SO]TomCom.
