Many years passed
Ans so much has changed
Yet, strong is the feeling
That we're still the same
With so much time gone
So much still remains
To quiet our hearts
And still all our pains
Back when we were children
We played through the day
Never once knowing
We'd end up this way
And when I last saw you
So gentle your voice
Perhaps just a kiss
For eternal rejoice
But with so much time passed
I ask myself why
Was nothing as sweet
As embracing good bye
