Robert "King" Wilkerson

Robert "King" Wilkerson is a former Black Panther who has been incarcerated in the hole in Louisiana's infamous Angola Prison since 1972. Though he was not at the prison at the time of Brent Miller's death, upon his return to Angola from a local parish jail where he was attending court, he was immediately locked down because, as a member of the BPP, the prison labeled him a "militant." King has done much of the legal work for the Angola 2, Albert Woodfox and Herman "Hooks" Wallace.

King is currently fighting his own legal battle for release. Information on his case will be available soon.

When the shoreline is littered with injustice as far as the eye can see, the people must rise up as a powerful wave, a tsunami, to sweep it all away and establish justice.
