LIVE MIDGETS

Live Midgets Were:

Live Midgets were a DIY garage/noise band from Pasadena Md. that formed in '97. It started as Sof' Serv'd on Guitar and vocals and Nugget Nose on drums, but decided to trade back and forth on different songs. Inspired by the likes of Supercharger, the 1,4,5's, Ramones, and Captain Beefheart, the Midgets created some sloppy crap, but it was tons of fun. Forunately, barely anyone witnessed Live Midgets extreme 12 year old energy and enthusiasm within the fuzz feuled, three chord racket made by the Midgets, although the few that heard were deeply disgusted, which was the Midgets aim. Live Midgets first recording, the "That's What Dad Did", EP failed to capture the true essence of improvisional slop potential that the Midgets possessed. Their second recording, "Danger: Live Midgets", which is now out on CD and Cassette on Upstairs Records, shows them at their peak insanity level. So indulge if you will in, LIVE MIDGETS. Click HERE to view Live Midgets releases on Upstairs Records. This will be Live Midgets first and last full length which contains fifteen songs of uninhibited noise garage punk mayhem and wild distorted improvisation. "DANGER: LIVE MIDGETS" is out now on Upstairs Records with a few notes on the inside written by Sof' Serv'd as a final word about the Live Midgets.
