~ 3:30pm ~
go ahead and believe that you're the
chosen one
listening to: dave matthews
band
album: before these crowded streets
ave song: all i've heard so far on here
feeling: pdg (pretty darn good)
weather: hot and sunny
!hola! i don't have too much time on here, because i
need to do homework, but i hadn't written since saturday.
sunday, i was studying my butt off for the ap us history
test, then, i worked last night, and today, i have a bit
o' time, so i decided to say hello.
i'm so incredibly happy. just, the feeling of being
cared for by someone who doesn't HAVE to care about you
like that (if that makes sense). beka said i have been
hanging out with her too much, i'm picking up
"like", hand gestures, and "it's all
good" (the latter being something she picked up from
aaron. i'm listening to dave matthews band and i really
like the new album (what i've heard of it so far~i've not
sat down and just listened to it). it's a harder sound
than other ones, but still really cool.
nathanael has my tori amos cd (from the choirgirl
hotel) but i had my fix on "playboy mommy",
which is my favorite song on the album, the morning
before i gave it to him, so it's all good.
"don't drink the water, there's blood in the
water"
i'm hoping i can go up to hot licks (a guitar shop in
the area) and have my guitar restrung and tuned saturday
before i have to go to work.
oh! i'm going to teach myself (or try to teach myself)
spanish over the summer and was able to get some spanish
textbooks. i'm also hoping to work a lot on my french
over the summer.
i was writing weird little poems today in that class,
nifty ones where it's like, the shape of the poem helps
tell what they are about. they're about flowers, and
mice, and rainbows and rain. it's pretty cool. i think my
favorite one, i'm gonna just write in my french section.
it's really really short, but something like, the rain is
blue and falls like tears and i ask you, is god happy? i
dunno, i kinda liked it.
it's so amazing the things that come from a bored
mind.
oh, now that the ap us history test (the one that was
$74 and i can get college credit for if i pass) is over,
i can concentrate my spazziness somewhere else, and that
is the sga elections.
petitions went out yesterday, and mine is almost done
(i'm running for sga president) and i DO have an opponent
(i kept getting asked who would run against me) and it
scares me. i mean, i really really want this position,
and....gah!
anyhow, i can't stress...think of kelli's no stress
plan. kelli's wonderful. i doubt she'll ever read this,
but ah well. she makes gym fun. alright, i've spent more
time on the computer than i meant to. i really need to go
do some studying.
adios.
