~ 3:25pm ~
take these chances, place them in a
box
listening to: dave matthews
band
album: under the table and dreaming
fave song: dancing nancies
feeling: eh...
weather: hot, muggy, typical summer stuff
well then everyone. how are you? i'm doing alright.
the first full week of summer has passed, and i'm not
quite sure how i feel about it. i mean, summer is great
and all, but it's seemed so long so far. *shrugs* there's
much i have to do, want to do. i start guitar lessons
next week, so that should be cool ~ thanks to
nathanael...those were my b-day present, and summer is
pretty much the only time i have to take them.
things have been going well. i got my report card ~
all a's and one b, and the same for my final grades. the
b was in ap us history, and i'm kinda happy about it, but
then, i'm sure i could've gotten an a, but i'll deal...i
still have like, a 4.25 or something. three ap classes
really help the ole gpa...
i also got my SAT scores today...i went up 90 points,
so that was really nice, but i still haven't hit 1200,
which is pretty much my goal. i got a 1170...*shrugs* the
only thing i'm now waiting for are the scores of my AP US
history test. *sighs* tests, tests, tests...
~ 9:00pm ~
she never let on how sane it was
listening to: tori amos
album: from the choirgirl hotel
fave song: playboy mommy
feeling: not too bad
weather: hot, muggy, typical summer stuff
hey there everyone! i've been working my butt off,
trying to get this all together so i can get this all up
by the end of the first week of july. *crosses fingers*
tomorrow, nathanael and i celebrate our two month
anniversary! i've been reading this book called imzadi,
and it's really weird how accurate things are portrayed,
like, feeling-wise and stuff...it's just really really
hard to explain. but, this book does it in a way that
makes it all make sense.
well, as for what's been going on since i last wrote.
i eventually DID get everclear, so that was pretty cool,
eh? on the 14th, i went to the Tibeten Freedom Concert,
and that was soo cool. the sound system was kinda bad,
but ah well. i got burnt to a crisp, but i had a blast.
then, the 18th and 19th, my friends and i went
camping...me, nathanael, beka, aaron, angela, janet and
sean. it was really cool, though there wasn't really a
fire, but we had so much fun there, too. then on
the 21st, we went to go see ANI DiFRANCO!!! for me, that
was an experiance in and of itself, and i loved it.
janet commented that i would have loved it if she [ani
difranco] had sung old mcdonald had a farm.
true. i won't deny it.
since then, i've been working, i've scheduled guitar
lessons (present from nathanael for my birthday), and
i've decided to learn spanish (my parents also helped
along by buying a computer program) and i'm gonna do a
lot of reading.
i got three really cool antique books at this place
called bittersweet memories, and i love the book room
there. i could get lost and just spend forever in there.
well, i'm off to work some more on here...
