There are two days in each week about which we should not worry.
One of these is yesterday, and the other is tomorrow.
Yesterday, with its misunderstandings, faults and blunders, aches and pains, has passed forever beyond our control.
We cannot undo a single act that was performed or erase a single word that was spoken.
Yesterday is gone.
And tomorrow is beyond our immediate control.
The sun will rise, maybe in splendor or behind a mask of clouds. But it will rise.
And until it does, you have no stake in tomorrow.
This leaves only one day to concentrate on--today.
And anyone can fight the battles of just one day.
It's when we add the burdens of yesterday and tomorrow that we break down.
Live one day at a time.
