My ancestors came to the Niagara Falls, Ontario area about 1803, reportedly from Pennsylvania. The patriarch was John Wilkins, first wife unknown. His descendants later dispersed to Ancaster, Trafalgar, Whitechurch Twp. in York County and London, Ontario. I have researched extensively in Ontario during the 1800's, Pennsylvania in the 1700's and even earlier in New Jersey. There is some eveidence for a tie to North Carolina. Intermarriage with Webb family. Children probably born in Pennsylvania include Robert Giddence, John Harris, Sarah, Jesse Lee, William Thomas and Thomas Jefferson Wilkins (sometimes Wilkin).
