I am researching the Wilkins Family in Maryland. The family I am looking for was from Kent County Maryland. I believe the Father's name was Bartus and the son was Alfred. Alfred was born in 1877. It also appears that Bartus had a brother, Edward who was a Maryland State Senator in 1856. Alfred was disowned by the family when he married a Mary Elizabeth Nagel.
