We don't have any kind of information about his origin. No kind of document that can lead us to his identification has been kept. We know he died in 1875. He is buried in a landed property he owned and his grave reads "Juan Federico Wilkins", we think his first name in Spanish was given here, he perhaps may be named John Frederick Wilkins.
