Contact: alannahb@aol.comSearching for information of Harold Wilkins and Rose Wilkins who were siblings of George Herbert Wilkins. Mother was Mary (nee Fribance I think) and father was John Wilkins who was born on the Caribbean Island of Montserrat in 1870-1874. I believe that Harold could have been born in Poplar London although it may have been Gloucester where I believe the family lived at one time. I have also wondered whether one of the children might have been born in Greenwich. I have photos of Harold Wilkins and would love to hear from anyone who might be related! We have been told that Rose was in the WREN's and may have been mentioned in a U.K. National newspaper at one time. Father, John, was in the Merchant Marines and mother, Mary, was left on her own to bring up the children due to John's frequent absences at sea. John and Mary were estranged and John was found in later years to be living in Greenwich. George Herbert lived in St. Albans, Hertfordshire and he was th! e father of my husband, Paul Stanley Anton Wilkins. I would like to post the photos of Harold but have been told that photos cannot be shown after the year 1930. I have no idea how old Harold was in these photos but I suspect he was in his 30's and that these photos were taken in the early 1940's..but could have been earlier!
