William Wilkins (1779 - 1865) was the son of Captain John Wilkins, Sr. (1733 - 1809). William Wilkins was a prominent Pittsburgh jurist, United States senator, and Secretary of War under President Taylor. Judge Wilkins was married to Matilda Dallas. They are buried in Homewood Cemetery in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
