The gold funerary mask of Tut(1332-1322 BCE)was found in the pharaoh's tomb in the Valley of the Kings.The mask captures the young king's beautiful features and portrays him with heavily made-up eyes and pierced ears. His face is framed by the traditional striped nemes headcloth,crowned with the protective uraneus(cobra) and vulture goddesses.
