What, Where, When, Why, Who, How Much?

On Saturday morning, April 28th, from 9:00 a.m. - 1:30 p.m., The National Wildlife Federation and Utah Wildlife Federation invite all members and the public to a showing of the NWF Productions large format film Wolves followed by a presentation by expert speakers and a panel discussion on wolf restoration in Utah and the Southern Rockies.

This rare chance to view the film in our area will be sponsored by UWF, with an introduction by Tom France on the NWF perspective and the national scope of wolf recovery. Following the film, UWF will give their perspective and a brief Utah history on this issue, and will then introduce a panel of wolf experts, local decision makers and interested parties to discuss the future of wolves in Utah. The panel will be moderated by Bill Burbidge.

The panel will include Ed Bangs, USFWS wolf recovery team leader, Carter Niemeyer, USFWS Wolf Expert, Dr. Steven Torbit, Wolf Expert, Gary Power, Idaho Fish and Game Department, and Mike Wolfe, Utah Division of Natural Resources. The panel presentation will be followed by a brief question-and-answer period involving the audience.
