Of warm and loving care
From all the people in it,
I still had more to share.
I wanted someone special

And then you came into my life,

You've held me up when needed,
With a gentle guiding hand,

Looking past my outer shell,
You decided from the start,
To find my inner workings,
And delved deep into my heart.

You approached my shattered soul,

You protected me from hurting,

And believed that I could fly.
