Highlights/Momentous Occasions

1. The International President of the Sorority participated in our Chartering Cermeony
2. The Zeta Amicae Auxiliary was chartered in 1977
3. Two of the Sorority's International Presidents have been the keynote speaker and/or participated in our Finer Womanhood Celebrations. - Past International Grand Basileus Dr. Edith Frances and Past International Grand Basileus Eunice S. Thomas
4. Eta Pi Zeta Chapter was the first African American organization to sponsor a Cotillion, our main fund raiser, in Montgomery County
5. Since Dr. Robert Beale and Dr. B. Brenda Joyce wrote the Pan Hellenic Constitution, no other Greek letter organization could sponsor our main fund raiser. Each organization has a major fundraiser.

Eta Pi Zeta emphasizes Finer Womanhood, as well as, follow the other ideals of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc., Scholarship, Service and Sisterly Love.

The chapter sponsors an Undergraduate chapter at the University of Maryland College Park. The chapter also sponsors three (3) auxiliaries, an Amicae Group (Adult Women), an Archonette Club (Teenage Girls) and an Amicette Club (Pre-teens). These groups perform many community service activities. They also help the Chapter with their activities.
