Situation Regarding AJ...

AJ is now out of rehab and doing wonderfully. Howie said on TRL that he looks great and he's even picked up a little weight. He was seen driving past an American Pie 2 premier with his girlfriend. I saw the pictures and he does look great. Platinum topped and breathtaking as ever.

We all want to give send him our love and congratulations! You did it, AJ! And we respect you so much for it! We can't wait to see you up and in action again with the tour! So again, congratulations.



Today, July 09, 2001... Kevin, Brian, Howie, and Nick announced to the world that AJ admitted himself into rehab due to depression, anxiety, and alcohol abuse.

We truly respect the fact that he admitted to himself that he had a problem, and took the initial step in resolving it. It takes a lot of guts to do something like this. We also respect the fact that he was ok with the rest of the Backstreet Boys informing the world about his condition. They all could have told us fans anything. But it eventually would have come out. So we commend them in their honesty.

I (Rain) can empathize with Kev, Howie, Nick, and Brian. One of my very best friends admitted herself into rehab for alcoholism as well as drug abuse. And it's not easy when there is little you can do to help a person you love.



AJ...

If you ever come across this, we just want to say that our hearts go out to you. We are huge fans of yours. You are such a beautiful and kind person, and we know that you will get over this with flying colors. We think we speak for almost all BSB fans when we say that we love you dearly and will keep you in our thoughts and prayers.

Our hearts also go out to your bandmates, your family, and your friends. We wish you the very best of luck. And you truly have all of our love, support, and encouragement.
