Gentle Tear
One Gentle tear on my cheek
My Lord loves me just as I am
Sometimes you make my spirt grow weak
Why can't you love me for who I am?
One Gentle Tear plopping on the ground
Harsh words crushing me inside
I just want to run, to hide
My imperfections under attack
I await another day, another round.
One Gentle Tear shed from memories past
Of a young forever love that didn't last Snatched by a whore's evil grasp
Leaving one's life in a pile of trash.
One Gentle Tear wet on a face
Dreams of a new love never to be
Dashed by age, time and a faraway
distant place.
One Gentle Tear cryed
From missing him so
We said our goodbye
But, my heart won't let go
Believe me when I say I tryed
One Gentle Tear, a Grandmother's
Whose heart weeps for the Grandchildren
So many troubles in their young lifes
A Grandmother prays and so often cries
Praying for the best, their future unknown.
One Gentle Tear wiped away
With a flood of many more to Follow
Maybe, not today, but tommorrow.

One Gentle Tear shed in awesome wonderment
of a tiny new born craddled in Grandmother's arm.A miracle of God's so delicate and sweet.
