We are Women Who Worship. Our Chairperson is Saundra Currence. Our Women's Ministry is open to all women of the The Greater Revelation Baptist Church and is intended to glorify God through our activities to enhance the
spiritual and physical needs of the women of God. It is the
goal of this Ministry to see each woman build a close,
intimate, personal relationship with Jesus Christ, grow to maturity in her faith and reproduce that relationship in the lives of her family and others. We worship God in sprit and in truth; in song and prayer. We strive to enhance the efforts of Christian women in our church whose calling is to fulfill the Great Commission and learn how to make a significant difference for the cause of Jesus Christ. We inspire, encourage and uplift women to seek God’s plan and purpose for their life.
Following our First Lady Vernel Marshall's example, we pray for one another, join each other in prayer and make intercession on behalf of our sisters. As sisters in Christ, we can go boldly to the throne of grace on behalf of other sisters. As the word of God says {Matthew 18:19} Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven. {20} For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them. Philippians 4:6-7: Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
Through our women’s ministry, we have had healings, bondings, and greater fellowships with each other.
Retreat: Our retreat is to encourage women to discover their spiritual gifts. Through prayer, God will show them how to carry out that gift for the upbuilding of his Kingdom. Our retreat is a tool to help women reach their full potential as Christians.
We, as a women’s ministry, help serve the body of Christ and reflect the image of God.
Our Motto: We are one in the spirit, we are one in the Lord!
