Goodbye
The phone call came
late one night
what they told me
could not be right
They say you're gone
to a better place and time
but that can't be so
you never said goodbye
Your smile was so bright
you lit up the room
A friendship worth so much
is what I had in you
You meant alot to so many
although you may not have known
and with you looking down
we are not alone
So now you're gone
but not out of our hearts and minds
you will always be near
for all time
