She Wonders
She wonders what it would be like
as thoughts of him come rushing by
for just one moment in time
she prays, please let him be mine
She wonders what it would be like
as she watches couples hand in hand
if only she could make a deal
that for once, have something so real
She wonders what it would be like
as he's invading her thoughts
if at all, she invades his mind
and will it ever be their hearts that bind
She wonders what it would be like
as loneliness surrounds her
how it sounds hearing "here's your chance"
instead of hearing "you can't"
