Always and forever
that's what you always say
my hopes and dreams
you promise to fill one day
I'm the one who makes you happy
you always reassure me
and telling me how special I am
is something I need to believe
I often feel selfish
knowing how much I want you
I wonder if she knows
how much you want me too
And when you spend your days with me
it seems like such a great life
but I know I won't have it all
because at night, you go home to your wife
You say you have no love for her
but the kids need you there
so you carry on with two lives
knowing it's not fair
