You were my life
my heart was yours to keep
and there was no other
who loved me as deep
Being with you
seemed so right
not knowing how things would change
on that one fatal night
We promised to always be together
and love each other a lifetime
but God had other plans
cause he took you and all I do is cry
I feel you beside me
even though you're gone
but it gets me through
on the nights that seem so long

just touching your name on this stone
