The band started as a trio by the name of Soul Sacrifice, with members Brian Baker, Mark Reluzco and Joseph Anthony. Eventually, the band changed their name to 3dayfunk and started looking for additional members. After 3dayfunk found the appropriate members, the band embarked on many successful shows and venues.

3dayfunk influences are Badlands, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Jimi Hendrix, KISS, Steely Dan, YES, Grateful Dead, just to mention a few! The band sound is compose of funk, blues, jazz, fusion, prog, rock and jams, with very original progressions, grooves and tight time signatures.

3dayfunk is a band that to this day, still has a big impact on many of the local community. The band influenced and helped create bands like Random Reality, Mama Greenthing, H-Hour, Otis Finch, DoubleDogDare, and many others.
