I decided to dedicate one of my pages on my website to "Miss Angie," because there aren't to many "Miss Angie"
Websites out there in Cyber Space. Well now I'll list a little info about her, I don't know much right now, but when I
find out more I'll make sure to add it.
Name: Angie Thornton (Turner's her maiden name)
Albums: Right now, she has two Cd's out. The first album is called "100 Million Eyeballs," which was released in
1997. Her second album is "Triumphantine," which was released in 1999.
Type of music: Christian Rock (Miss Angie describes her sound as Star dusty Rock n Roll)
Influence(s): 2nd Chapter of Acts. She bought one of their albums for a quarter at a garage sale. On her first album
she remade one of their song, called "Which Way the Wind Blows."
Marital status: Married to Oran Thornton.
Mini-Bio: She grew up traveling from church to church in a family band, kind of like the Partridge Family. She also
toured with Johnny Q Public, and sang at the close and sometimes lead worship afterwards. She never planned to
be a singer of a Christian Rock Band. She wanted to be a Missionary, but her dad encouraged her to make a demo
tape. Even though she isn't a Missionary her goal is to write music that glorifys God and draw people to him. She
also wants to reach the kids who go to church just because their parents make them.
