Ramblings of a Ranger

What a crappy day
Mood:  lazy
It has been raining here all day. It was suppose to stop 2 hours ago but it shows no sign of stopping. We are in dire need of water so I can't really complain much. It is just that it is one of those days where it is cold and wet outside and all you want to so is curl up on the couch under a warm blanket and watch tv.

Yesterday was Administrative Professionals Day. I don't really consider myself an admin person but my boss said I do more admin work than they do so he took me out to lunch. Today our Forester, who couldn't come out with us yesterday, took me to Quiznos today. Maybe I will get another fee lunch tomorrow. LOL

I was disappointed in LOST last night. I hate this repeat clip shows. Just get on with it already. I am getting very frustrated. On a positive note...my hippies on The Amazing Race last night came back from last place to take 3rd. I was sorry to see Fran and Barry go. I was so hoping it would be MOJO. Tonight is Survivor and I am keeping my fingers crossed that Shane gets voted off. Gosh...I watch way too much tv. LOL

Oh well back to work. I am going to try to build some bluebird boxes today. Me with a hammer and nails...can you picture it. Dangerous!

This rain sucks. I know we need it but it still sucks. When are we having Kurt's going away thing?

Yes it does suck. I called a ranger I know in in the western part of the state and it stopped there 3 hours ago. *sigh* But we really do need it. Especially now that that Raleigh as agreed to sell our water to Wendell.

The party was suppose to be this weekend. But they are keeping him here another week. So it looks like maybe next weekend. I unfortunately have to work Saturday so i don't know if I will cook now. So we might just end up going out. We are going out this Saturday if you want to go. Think we are going to go see that undersea Imax thing. I don't think Tanya is going.

We had our rain on Saturday and we really needed it as well. We've had open burn bans in place for over a month.

Was disappointed last night as well. First time in 3 weeks (or more most likely) that I've had cable and turns out Lost is a repeat! Dammit. I turned it off and put in a movie instead. Will hopefully remember to watch Survivor tonight. Completely forgot about The Amazing Race last night.

Rumor has it that the reason for all the repeats is because it has been raining non-stop in Hawaii. Plus Ana Lucia has decided to take jail time instead of community service. So I don't know if that will hold up production at all. Next week is suppose to be a new episode.

Wait a minute. Your not cooking now?!? What the?!? No crab dip?

I will be over tonight hopefully in time to catch Survivor. Need me to bring anything?

I laugh at your month long burn bands. We have been on water restrictions since last summer. Hey Becca did you hear that Dan got fined $200 because he was watering his lawn on the wrong day and had rented a powerwasher and was cleaning his house when the officals spotted him. So funny...he deserves it. LMAO

No just yourself. You still have some beer left over from Easter and I still have that wine your brought.

I have to work till 6PM and trust me I will not be in the mood to cook anything. If you want I will make the crab dip Sunday and you and I can eat dip and watch movies. I think I still have some chick flicks you haven't seen yet. ;)

That is too funny. I ran into him Tueaday at Target and he was all crabby. The fine must have been the bee up his skirt. And yes he does derserve it. Water Hog! You know if he keeps it up they will shut off his water. *keeps finger crossed*

Andy, Tanya, and Kurt

I found out from a co-worker that there is a little mom and pop store on Six Forks that has free wine tastings on Thursday nights. Maybe we can go next week.
