It is only a computer...it wont hurt you
Mood:  cheeky
I sometimes forget that most of my staff isn't well versed in computers.

We are suppose to take this online Ergonomics training. That's right...Ergonomics. *shrug* I didn't realize there was training in such a thing but leave it up to the govt to come up with something.

My staff has been coming to me today and telling me that the site wont load for them. I checked and it opened fine for me. It then dawned on me that the program is connected to the H: drive not the C: drive. So I sent out the following message to my staff:

"If you can not open the training it is because you don’t have the H: drive mapped on your computer. Please map your H: drive to the location provided below. Let me know if you have any problems."

This is the response I got back:

"Map the H: drive???? What in the hell is that? You might as well ask me to map a course to the moon. Are you serious? I have A,C,D, and E. There is no figgin' H. You are like, "just map it." Like it is something that every normal human being should know. So I guess I am letting you know that I have a problem with your instructions. Please come help me."

LOL I love my staff.
