I'm going to the Cirque-us!!!!
Mom called me at work yesterday to inform me that she just bought us tickets to the Cirque du Soleil - Corteo on Nov 23rd in Washington DC. I am so excited I can hardly stand it. I have always wanted to go to a Cirque du Soleil show. They have been to Raleigh a few times and will be here this December but the show is during the Christmas holidays and in the past I have had a hard time getting someone to go with me. Mom said she got an email with the advertisement and thought it would be fun. Bad thing is...it is the day before Thanksgiving so I know Mom and I will have a hard time getting up Thursday morning and cooking. Oh well...I GET TO SEE CIRQUE DU SOLEIL!!!!!!

One of these days I will see the Cirque Dreams show here in Raleigh. I hear it is spectacular.

I saw a Cirque du Soleil show in Vegas once... I think it was Dralion or something like that. Either way, it was awesome. There were these two contortionist dudes who held each other up off the ground; for twenty minutes of twisting, one guy never touched the floor.

Its particularly cool you get to see it in DC, they have some great venues for it there.

I saw "O" in Vegas last year and it was fantastic. I am glad you are finally getting a chance to see it.

It's in a parking lot?

You know that Cirque Dreams will be in Greensboro in January?

Yeah it is in a parking lot. Apparently there used to be a convention center on the site. Now it is a parking lot. The show is in a LARGE climate controled tent.c
