OMG I think this girl is me!!!!
Mood:  silly
My mom sent me an email this morning with this joke attached.

A guy took his girlfriend to her first football game. They had great seats right behind their team's bench. After the game, he asked her how she liked the experience. "Oh, I really liked it," she replied, "especially the tight pants and all the big muscles, but I just couldn't understand why they were killing each other over like 25 cents." Dumbfounded, her date asked, "What do you mean?" "Well, they flipped a coin, one team got it and then for the rest of the game, all they kept screaming was: 'Get the quarter back! Get
the quarter back!' I'm like...Helloooooo? It's only 25 cents!!!!

LMAO...The sad thing is...I have probably said something like that. I am not a football fan. Never have been and never will be. I just don't have the patience for it. I can't understand if a quarter is 15 minutes and there are four of them, then how can it take 4 hours to play a game? I also can't handle the constant stops and starts. Just play dammit. I usually watch the superbowl every year because when you think about it...it is really the only game that matters.

LOL yeah I can see you saying something like this. Which is why I never watch a sporting event with you.

How is the house thing going?

You were the one I thought of when I read that e-mail this morning!

And admit it, you only watch the superbowl because it's an excuse to cook up lots of fun foods and watch the commercials!

Have you ever told people how you decide which team to cheer for?

Yeah my ex BF kept trying to get me to watch a game with him. I told him to trust me...it wouldn't be a pleasant experience for either of us.

The house thing is going slowly which is very good. I decided to actually wait till January when I get my raise. I should also get my award by then so I will have a little extra cash.

*puts hand over face and shakes head* OMG it just keeps geting worse. Please tell me that you don't really pick a team that way?

Yeah pretty much. There are a few things that have been ingrained as a kid such as 1) I must always cheer for the Redskins. I think if I didn't my faimly would disown me. 2) I must always cheer for the team playing against Dallas. Other than that...I can pick any team I like and since I don't watch any other game excpet the superbowl...Uniform color is all I have to go on. Now if they a cool inzone dance like Icky Woods did with the Icky Shuffle...then I would cheer for them.

I was going to bring up the whole Icky Woods thing after Tanya's comment and then saw you mention it. I will never forget how much you loved that!! Though I'm sure you have 100% NO idea who he played for. (Cincinatti Bengals).

But I'm very proud that you do remember to cheer FOR the Redskins and AGAINST Dallas (who played each other this past Sunday and the Hogs won!!!).

Yes I know he played for the Bengals! :p They had cool uniforms.

And yes after years of being beaten, tortured, a forced to stand in the cold for 4 hours I now remember to cheer FOR the redskins.
