Mood:  a-ok

I am not going to let Tom and Dana go anywhere together. They went out this morning and came back with a rabbit. They said they were driving on the dam and saw this rabbit off in the grass and this isn’t your ordinary wild rabbit. This is a domesticated rabbit…apparently a calico rex? I don’t know my rabbits. It is small and its teeth are in bad shape and it is VERY hungry. You can feel its ribs and backbone. But considering all that it is a very sweet bunny. It is very content to just sit in my lap and be petted. We gave it some bread and some small bits of apple which it devoured.

I called several rabbit rescues but they are not able to take the bunny at this time so now I wait for an animal control officer to come and pick it up. I know its fate is certain death but no one I know needs or wants a rabbit. Poor bunny.
