My Front Porch
As I sit on My Front Porch
A gentle spring breeze blows
It's soft silky fingers
Strums the many windchimes
Like a heavenly harp
My front porch
My place of refuge
Where I can peer into my soul
Feeling the inner peace
I let my burdens go
Setting them Free
My Front Porch
Where Christ whispers to my heart
Embraces me with tender love
So, I can clearly see
That life is not always like
We expect it to be
My Front Porch
As warm teardrops fall
My heart feels lighter
My burdens become small
Because Jesus on My Front Porch
Came to Call
When I seem to doubt this
The wind blows harder
The Chimes ring a different tune
I faintly seem to hear
Are you doubting me?
My Child
