I was trying to get Dr. Zerhouni interested in my use of the Pea Pod as a symbol for the "brick wall" scientists come up against when trying to understand the inner workings of Nature. He graciously accepted this sculpture as a tribute to his work.
He has since accepted the position of the head of NIH and I have not dared to interupt his very, very busy agenda with talk of my fantastic PEA PODS. I will wish him the best of luck from afar.
