RE: John Bunch Announces Bid for Baltimore County Orphans’
Court Judgeship
Owings Mills resident John Bunch has announced today that he will run for
Baltimore County Orphans' Court Judge. Mr. Bunch is running as a
Republican for the county’s probate court, whose three judges are currently
all Democrats. The Orphans' Court resolves differences arising from
disputed estates.
Mr. Bunch received a Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in political science
from the University of Maryland Baltimore County. He has been a Retirement
Plan Representative at T. Rowe Price Retirement Plan Services for the last four
years. His tenure at T. Rowe Price has provided Mr. Bunch with ample
experience in the reconciliation of accounts and the calculation of interest -
two valuable skills for a probate judge. Other relevant components of Mr.
Bunch’s responsibilities at T. Rowe Price include the interpretation of
government regulations as they pertain to tax-deferred savings plans and the
distribution of plan assets to death beneficiaries.
