With only the Lord to speak?
How many days did He hold me up,
When alone I was too weak?
How many ways did He help me mend,
When my spirit was almost broke?
How many nights did He guide me,
When through His Word He spoke?
How many burdens did I feel
Alone I had to bear?
When all the while, I had only to ask,
For He was always there.
