Adding Style:    Our hot topic tables are defined using a CSS class called "hottopic".  We created this special table with no attributes - no size, cell spacing, or border.  Next right click in the table and choose cell properties.  Click on the "Style" button.  Under "Class", type in the word "hottopic" without the quotation marks.  The table is transformed to look like this one.

FrontPage 2002 Web Components:

If you use FP2002, you may insert news headlines, weather, stock tickers, and more, using the FP2002 Web Components.  Go to Insert/Web Components and choose the type of feature you would like to add.

Newsletter Archive:

You can create a newsletter archive using our Newsletter Template as an example. Newsletter subscriptions are a good way to generate site traffic and keep in contact with your customers.

Adding New Pages to Your Web:

You may add new pages in two ways:

1.  Copy an existing Page:  This is useful if you have inserted a logo graphic and made other layout changes that you want to apply to all the new pages that you are creating.  Open a page that has the layout the way you want it, then go to File/Save As.  Save the page under a new name and save the page title as well.  Then go to Navigation View and drag your new page into the navigation structure.  We have created newpage.htm for this purpose.

2.  Create a new page template:  Open newpage.htm and then click File/Save As.  From the dropdown choose FrontPage Template (.tem).  This will add a new page template to the correct files and you will be able to use it as follows:

Deleting Pages From Your Web:

Right-click on the pages you wish to delete in your folder list or in the Navigation View, then select "Delete".

Renaming Pages:

If you would like to use an existing page but want to rename it, you may easily do this in Folders View.  Right click on the file name and/or the page title and choose "Rename" to rename your file.
