The Traditional Biker CeremonyYour biggest worry will be how much space is available for the motorcycles if your wedding is outside. Typically, biker ceremonies have bikes lined up on two sides to form an aisle for the bride and her bridesmai ds to walk down. As the bride passes, each biker revs
his/her motorcycle with all of them making noise until she reaches the
front. A signal is usually given to shut the bikes off all at once.
And, because it is a biker ceremony, it stands to reason that the
bride and groom usually have written their own vows. Check your
local Harley Chapter to see if there is a local offiicient who is
either a biker or who is familiar with biker weddings. He/she
can help you create vows using biker slang. Once the bikers are
pronounced husband and wife, the motorcycles are reved up again as the
bride and groom walk up the aisle together.
