Sophia Bates born 10 August 1812 in Danby, Rutland Co., Vermont.1 She died 10 October 1897 in Lake City, Calhoun Co., Iowa.1 She was married about 1831 in Vermont to (1)John Parker Cole2. She was married to (2) Charles Amy in 1853 in Michigan.3
