John Carver Sr. born 16 February 17881, possibly in New York. He died 12 September 1842 in Genoa, Cayuga Co., New York. He is buried in Sharpsteen Cemetery in Cayuga County.1 He was married on an unknown date to Deborah "Debby", surname is possibly Hawley.2 Vital information unknown.

ii. Daniel Carver born 22 February 1810 in Genoa, Cayuga Co., New York.3 He died before 1870 in New York. 9 He married Catherine Howell.
iii. Lucy Carver born 29 December 1811 in Genoa, Cayuga Co., New York.3 She died 7 July 1879 in Fulton County Kansas.5 She was married 3 February 1834 in New York to Wallace Hotchkiss6 born 14 May 1810 in Tioga County New York. He died 26 December 1863 in Linn Co., Kansas.

This would suggest his date of birth is 30 October 1830, however family records give his birthdate as being 30 October 1824. It is currently unknown which is correct.
