Most people visit Blackpool (the sea-side town in NW England)  for a holiday, entertainment, etc. Recently, I felt led by God’s Spirit to visit Blackpool for a different reason.

 

I had money to get there only but stepped out in faith!

 

While at Blackpool I distributed over 5000 gospel leaflets and over 60 people said the sinners’ prayer with me on the streets alone and more in the meetings that I attended.

 

I stayed there 7 days in a Bed & Breakfast place at  a cost of £12:00 per night. All through the week people kept bringing me sandwiches and drinks saying they would like to know Jesus.  For example, the supervisor at the Blackpool Tower café offered me a FREE meal and asked to know Jesus.

 

On the way home to Whitchurch, I was at the train station with 4 minutes to spare and had on me £6:50. At that time a lady gave me £20:00 to bless me. When I asked the price of the ticket the train station employee replied: £26:50!

 

During my stay I made contacts with two churches and now these fellowships are going out regularly to evangelise on the streets.

 

GOD CAN DO IT!

 

 

If you are a Christian and would like to start street witnessing. For your information, at the present time I go street witnessing 3 times/ week and am praying for spiritual revival with others. 

 

Revival references that I have been led to read are as follows:-

2 Chronicles Ch. 7: 14; Isaiah Ch. 29:17- 19, Ch. 35 and Ezekiel Ch. 37.

 

 

To continue as a true believer you must follow the Lord Jesus Christ. This involves regularly: 1. Reading  the Bible; 2. Praying to God in Jesus’ name; 3. Fellowshipping with other born-again believers.
