The Lord Healed A Man Who Was Bowed Over - Desmond

I was working at the Salvation Army at the time. One

morning as I was serving the breakfast for the

homeless people I saw an old Jamaican man who was

bowed over and could not straighten himself for quite

a few years.

After he had his breakfast I went over to him.

Meanwhile the canteen was empty and he was the only

one left. I said to him," I will pray for you

tonight!". He replied," you will pray for me now!" and

he grasped hold of my hand and put it on his back. I

could see he had great faith so I rebuked the

infirmity in the name of Jesus and in seconds he stood

up straight. He was so excited that he was healed that

he ran up and down the canteen praising God that the

Lord had healed him.

I got told off for making a noise. The solution to his

healing was his faith in Jesus.

If Jesus would do this for him he can do it for you.

together, and could in no wise lift up herself. 12 And when Jesus saw her, he called her to him, and

said unto her, Woman, thou art loosed from thine infirmity. 13 And he laid his hands on her: and

immediately she was made straight, and glorified God.  ( Luke 13 )
