I was dead excited when the DJ in Hitz FM annouced my favourite e-pal, Cindy Wong as the winner of the 5 passes to see 911 Live In Concert! I quickly sent her an e-mail, begging her for the pass. I nearly cried out with joy when Cindy agreed! At last, after 1 year and 4 whole months my wish finally came true, all thanks to Cindy, my guardian angel! OK sweeties, just seat back and enjoy reading! The concert was held on the 10th of September 1998 at the Sunway Pyramid Convention Hall in Kuala Lumpur.
We arrived in the Sunway Pyramid at about 11.45am and I quickly gave Cindy a call. She asked me to meet her at the 8th floor carpark. We quickly rushed there and scanned the crowd but there was not sight of Cindy! I gave her a call again and she came out of the crowd and waved at us. My friend, Jo and I quickly ran up to Cindy while my parents went to buy us some food as we haven't had our lunch yet. Cindy introduced us to her friends, Shoba,Lindsay and Stanley who are all very friendly and nice. However, Jo started to worry as she couldn't find Azreen anywhere, the girl who was suppose to give her the pass but luckily in the end Cindy gave her the pass because a friend of hers didn't turn up.At about 12.35pm, the crowd suddenly ran up to the convention. It was so hot and stuffy there and I nearly suffocate in there. The security personnels and event mangers made things worse by forcing us to to wait,all seated on the dusty floor! We only managed to get in at about 2.45pm.
Once we were in the hall, we were shivering because it was so cold in there!The concert starts off at about 3.20pm with Indigo and Elite,our local group before 911 came on stage. 911 started off with some breakdancing and cutey Lee did a backflip just as he promised us! They started off with Love Sensation and Don't Make Me Wait and slowed down with How Do You Want Me To Love You and Baby Come Back, sang by Jimmy alone! *cheers!* Party People was next and they even took out a video camera and asked the fans to waved at it! After that they continue on with Let's Go Crazy and The Day We Find Love before they took a break. That was when I heard that there has been at least 30 fans has fainted! Ohmigosh!
Anyway, 911 didn't dissapoint the crowd and came back with All I Want Is You ,More Than A Woman,Bodyshakin' and ending it with Moving On. The concert was FANTASTIC! It was SUPERCALIFRAGILISTICEXPIALIDOCIOUS! HA! HA! I really had fun there, all thanks to Cindy!!!!!!
