Hope's Destiny
Chapter 3
"Xena..." gabrielle started to speak but got lost in the
truthful knowledge that was back, or would be. Gabrielle was
full of mixed emotions, she knew Hope must die, but something
made Gabrielle love her, even in her evil ways.
"Gabrielle, are you alright?" Xena asked
"I'm fine, it's- it's just a shock, that's all"
"yes, a shock is exactly what it is, Ares said this child
will be different, hopefull, either Hope isnt quite
back yet, or the child hasnt been concieved or born yet"
"Xena, what are we going to do?"
"I don't know yet, obviously those villagers were needed to
bring Hope back, he took quite a few so she should still be
quite powerful"
"where does that get us?"
"to tell the truth Gabrielle...I haven't got a clue"
Ares was back in his temple 'cleaning up' the mess his
sacrifices had made, he was expecting company any moment..
Hope.
Suddenly the sky began to rumble and clouds covered the stary
night sky (queue the Dahak music) as they smashed together
bolts of lightning came from everywhere. A blastwave of
force knocked Ares down, he lifted his head and saw blue,
purple, red, gold and silver specks of dust flying around in
a tornado of circles, the circle grew smaller and smaller
untill a show og bright orange light prevented Ares from
seeing and forced him to close his eyes. When he opened them,
hope was standing before him, in her red-get-up from the
time after she was re-born from the cocoon.
"welcome back Hope", Ares stood back up onto his feet.
"Ares, it's good to be back, why did you summon me?"
"well, let's say, I've missed you, and I think it's time
for the 2nd destroyer to be born, but this time, in a human
form, with full god-powers of Dahak and Olympus, this one..
will have a soul, like you"
"you say you've missed me, then mention children?"
"pretty much"
Hope smiled with a sly look of evil and stepped in toward
Ares, she touched his hair, then Ares brought her face toward
