Hope is back,she has become a Gabrielle lookalike. She shows that she is very powerfull. Her .Gabrielle tries once more to stop Xena. Xena thinks it is becuse she is once again protecting Hope. She then explains to Xena what Ares told her but Xena is determined: they have to stop Hope no matter what. Hope gets Callisto to dress her as Gabrielle so that we don't know who's who. Callisto wants to be killed right then but Hope dosn't aggree. She has to go to Ares first. Xena and Gabrielle are busy trying to stop the followers of dayhok from hurting the people that live in the villages nearby. We find out that Hope has a few things to do to get ready for her father's coming into the world. Hope gets pregnant by Ares and Callisto gets mad that she wasn't told about Hope and Ares getting together. She goes to help out Xena and tells her that she wants to die. Xena says no and wishes her eternal life. She wants Callisto to live with her pain. Gabrielle talks xena into letting Callisto join them. Joxer shows up and he and Hope meet. . She is upset becuse she finds out that Joxer loves Gabrielle .Hope tries to trick Xena into telling her where the Dagger that can kill a god is. She dosn't. Things continue on and Xena talks to ares and finds out that Hope is pregnantt. Hope and Gabrielle talk and Hope wants Gab to join her but she won't.there is a big fight at the cave. The thought of losing Xena overwhelms Gabrielle and she grabs hope before Xena can kill her. Together they dive into a pit of fire,leaving Xena all alone. At the sight of Gabrielle 's sacrifice,Callisto finds a new reason for leaving:Knowing that Xena is suffering.But hearing this Xena pulls her sword in Callisto's belly.
