- May 2001 - Now: Software Engineer - COR Slovakia s.r.o., Bratislava,

- Responsible for design, implementation, and maintainance of software
produced by the company. The company is a subsidiary of
COR AG Insurance Technologies, Germany. It develops software components and
applications for financial sector and provides consulting services.
The software runs on Windows, Unix, and OS/2.
- Worked with a team of developers to customize existing life insurance
system COR-Life+ running in German insurance companies (AXA, BLV, Dialog
Leben, ...). Programmed in C++ and Oracle PL\SQL and Embedded SQL.
- Designed and implemented component hierarchy for database connectivity
for Oracle, and InterBase. The C++ classes provided
high level database access for Unix and Windows applications. The task involved
deep knowledge of InterBase API, and Oracle OCI.
- Administered company's database servers (Oracle, IBM DB2),
web servers (Apache), and file servers (Windows, Linux).
- April 1998 – April 2001: PC Programmer / Analyst - Nationale–Nederlanden poisťovňa, a. s, Bratislava,
SK
- Responsible for design, implementation, and maintainance of software
for internal company use.
- Implemented Sales Support System based on multi-tier architecture with
Oracle / InterBase database back-end, MIDAS application server, and Delphi
Client. Responsible for migration of the system from InterBase to Oracle,
and web application design. Built a cryptographic layer (based on Microsoft's CryptoAPI) to ensure security
of the data transfered to client's machines. The project involved deep knowledge
of Microsoft's WinAPIs.
- Programmed and maintained a system for automated document processing
based on data from LIFE/400 running on IBM AS/400 server and a multi-threaded
application running on Windows
NT 4.0. client.
- Developed a Client / Server application for asset and financial analysis
in insurance companies (Slovakia, Romania). The application conforms both
to the Netherlands and Slovak bussines rules.
- Developed projection software for insurance agents / sales force (Nationale-Nederlanden
poisťovňa, a.s. and Všeobecná úverová banka,
a.s.). The approach is based on Delphi components which could be reused in
other applications.

TEKO Košice. The software was written

- Implemented a Consulting Software for Unit Commitment and Generation
Scheduling in Power Station TEKO). The software was written in Borland Pascal
